Great place, house was well equipped. There's a Tesco nearby Incase you need groceries. Didn't encounter any issues and the hosts were great.

The best tasting fish and chips I've had in decades, what a gem to find this Fish and Chip Shop, we travel from Uttoxeter about an hour away once or twice a month to enjoy them. Don't miss out call soon.

Went about 12.30 ish on a Saturday for a chippy take away and seemed to barely be anyone in there so luck of draw I suppose but staff very friendly and made order very fast. Got a lovely fish ,chips and gravy that tasted nice and was a good size portion. Yeah price was not too bad compared to other chippy's but like all chippy's nowadays they using excuses to up prices. Good chippy in Buxton though.

A genial and clean chip shop, with chatty and beautiful young ladies serving on a Friday evening. Well used by locals and chatty customers and staff. The food is delicious, the portions adequate and the prices standard. Undoubtedly the best food takeaway in Higher Buxton. Every other one I've used has processed, tasteless, skinny chips, served by surly men, chatting in indecipherable languages, which always makes one wonder what disparaging things they are saying about you. (They probably aren't)

My Mum had small fish, my Dad had small sausage, I had small fish and curry sauce & we shared large chips. We really enjoyed our meal from your takeaway. Staff were friendly. Would definitely visit again.
